We are proud to present our newest vacation Home, the Mansion on E. Victory Drive . The Home is a stunning 5Br/4.5 BA ,3 story 5500 sqft Victorian, built in the late 18800`s and is probably one of the most spectacular vacation rentals in Savannah. The Home was built by a family who owned and operated a five and dime retail store on Broughton St. The early history of Savannah is remarkable in its sheer diversity of people - different religions and ethnicities.

Victory Drive was originally named Estill Avenue. In 1919 it was established as a memorial boulevard in honor of WWI soldiers and was subsequently renamed Victory Drive. It is famous for its grand Mansions, beautiful live Oaks and its Palm Trees, each one of which is said to represent the loss of a Savannah soldiers` life. The trees run all the way to Tybee Island.

The house is the perfect vacation home for large families, scout groups or a group of friends. Why not spend a holiday together with your loved one in a true southern mansion?

The Home itself is a sight to behold. 14 large rooms spread out over 3 stories. When you walk thru the front door you immediately notice the staircase to the second floor and the baby grand Piano nestled at the fireplace. The dinning room is large and can seat up to 20 comfortably. The gourmet kitchen invites you and your family to sit around the breakfast bar while you prepare a real southern breakfast. There is also a separate breakfast room or you could even enjoy breakfast in the sunroom while gazing out over Victory drive. The pull out sofa in the sunroom may even be inviting for a little nap.

The master bedroom is located on the ground floor too, which allows easy access if you don`t like stairs. The second floor is comprised of 4 bedrooms one very large, which would be considered a master if it had an ensuite bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a bunk bed which is great if you like your children close by. There are also 3Bathrooms on the second floor. The 3^rd floor is probably a children's dream and some adults too, with a cozy loft like bedroom that offers great views out of the 2 cove windows.

There is plenty of space thru out the Home for air mattresses , so it can sleep up to 20 easily.

There is ample parking for 6-8 cars and a front porch that invites you to take a break from life in the fast lane with some comfortable rocking chairs.

The Home will be available from Jan 3^rd . We` ve already had many inquiries about it, so don`t hesitate if you are planning a family reunion m wedding, work party or just want to experience Savannah in a true southern fashion as opposed to staying in a Hotel or B&B .

Our Savannah Vacation Rental on HGTV !!

Tune in on August 6th at 3 pm to see us on HGTV . They decided to do a feature about Vacation Rentals in Savannah and we were one of the chosen ones.
We took part in the show Bang for your Buck. If you`ve never seen the show, here`s what it`s about.

"Designer Jinnie Choi and a local realtor critique three vacation rental renovations in Savannah to determine which one will see the biggest bang for your buck. First, they check out a rental with a painted mural. Next, they visit a historic vacation rental with modern touches . And finally, they check out a historic Home that now feels like a boutique hotel room. "

The work itself was a lot of fun . The HGTV crew were all great guys and gals, but that didn't make it any easier to stand up and speak into a camera "ad lib" with a bright light blinding you in the face!

There was no rehearsing or anything like that. We just took a walk around our apartment with Sean, the producer, and picked out the topics to talk about. Then it was all systems go!

When you're not used to it, it's be pretty hard trying to be interesting in front of a camera without a script! Funny things come out of your mouth and you act kind of stupid! After the first day's shooting we needed a few stiff margarita's! The next day wasn`t quite as bad as it was a bit more familiar and we all laughed a lot. A couple days later they came for the last day and we had to sit down and hear what they had to say about our Home. I could tell you, but what would be the fun of that? Tune in and watch for yourself.

We're not sure which scenes they picked and what we`ll look like once it gets aired, but it'll be fun watching!

Perfect location in a beautiful city

We enjoyed a wonderful SCAD grad weekend with family and friends. The location was perfect, the suite was beautifully redone in a heritage home facing the park. The inner courtyard and fountain offered peace when needed. It was a perfect location for our visit. Manderly at Savannah Dream Vacations made the booking, stay and check out very easy.

Two of our favorite local eats have been chosen as finalist in this years Flavor of Georgia Food product contest.

Wiley`s Championship BBQ has been chosen for their famous pepper sauce and is one of three finalist in the barbecue and hot sauce category.

Dubberly`s Seafood has been chosen as one of three finalists in the seafood category for their famous sweet Savannah shrimp cakes, which are made from fresh wild caught shrimp and other local ingredients.

Artists` Square

It may not be quite like Montmartre, Paris yet, but the kickoff to Artists` Square will be exciting nevertheless. On April 2nd working Artists can be found on Telfair Square in front of the Art Museum and the Jepson Gallery, creating what may be masterworks someday.

If you`ve ever been to Paris, you know the exciting feel that`s in the air when you watch art happening in front of your eyes.

It promises to be a beautiful and exciting Spring in Savannah.

All our Homes have private off street parking behind the Home and all of them have non metered street parking also.

The private parking is included in the nightly rate and there is no extra charge for it.

1006 Drayton, 1002 Drayton and the Carriage House are located on historic Forsyth Park, by many considered the nicest and most authentic Savannah neighborhood.

506/508 E. Waldburg Street are 4 blocks to the east of Forsyth Park and a tree lined street.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 60 days or more prior to arrival are subject to $395 cancellation fee which can be credited to next booking within 6 months of initial booking and a 10% processing fee of total amount. Cancellations made 60-29 days prior to arrival are subject to $595 cancellation fee, with $595 credit valid for 6 months and a 10% processing fee of total amount. Cancellations made within 29 days of arrival date will result in loss of deposit and any remaining balance still owed.. Refunds are not issued for No Shows/ Early Checkouts. Approved refunds will be credited within 60 days. A 50% deposit is required to hold your reservation; the balance is due 30 days prior to arrival date.

Rental Agreement At least one guest must be 25 years or older. STRICTLY NO SMOKING INSIDE THE PROPERTY!!! Guest promises to exercise reasonable ordinary care in the treatment of accommodations and furnishings. Guest or invitees of guest shall not disturb nor offend neighbors or residents. Owner reserves the right to terminate this agreement in such event. Guest is solely responsible for damage to owners property and missing or stolen merchandise.Damage to Linens, Towels and other fabrics due to MAKE-UP will be charged at replacement cost. Owner reserves the right and guest authorizes owner to charge guests credit card for any such damage or loss. Guest acknowledges that during rental period guest has sole use, possession and control of owners property and therefore owner is not responsible for any loss of money, jewelry or other possessions, nor of any injury to guest or invitees resulting from use of any items of personal property provided to guest by owner. Guest acknowledges and agrees that guest will inspect and be familiar with proper use and application of all such items related to rental of owners property and hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless owner from any and all claims arising from guests use of property and items of personal property provided by owner. Guest agrees that no refunds will be made for the failure of any owners equipment, televisions, appliances or any such device. However, every effort will be made to repair or replace device. Total number of guests must be disclosed at time of booking for insurance, fire code and city ordinance requirements. Undisclosed guests are subject to additional fees of $100/night/person. Savannah Dream Vacations has the right to inspect the property at any time during your stay to guarantee that stipulations has not been violated. Owners property must be pre approved for pets, with additional non refundable deposit/cleaning fee of $75 paid in advance. Guest agrees that unreasonable cleaning and/or damage will be charged to guests credit card. Undisclosed pets will be subject to $1500 fee per pet. No harmful, hazardous or illegal substances are allowed on the property. Guest hereby agrees to the following CHECK-OUT procedure: Take out ALL trash to appropriate facilities, wash dishes that were used by guest and return to proper cabinets, return keys to lockbox. Guest agrees that lost keys will require new locks to be fitted at guests expense. Savannah Dream Vacations reserves the right to cancel reservations at least 30 days ahead of time due to any unforeseen circumstances, issuing a full refund. Guests are advised to purchase travel Insurance to cover any unforseen event.
