Friday and Saturday Evenings in February

Completed in 1820, The Isaiah Davenport House has been operated as a Historic Museum since 1963 by the Historic Savannah Foundation. Visit this spectacular home on Friday and Saturday Evenings in February at 5:30pm (7:30 on 2/14) and experience “Potable Gold,” Savannah’s Madiera Tradition. Guests will have the unique opportunity to learn about the rich tradition of Madeira (wine) as it relates to the history of Savannah. Sample two different types of Madeira wine while enjoying the views of the beautiful Davenport House at dusk. Guests at the event will also discover a few places at the home that are usually off-limits to museum visitors.
