Now in it’s 20th year, the SCAD Savannah Film Festival has grown from humble beginnings, to a major event that draws 50,000 people, and major celebrities.
Attendees come to view competition screenings, screenings of films by industry professionals and students, take part in workshops, and sit in on lectures.
Oh, and catch a glimpse of Hollywood celebrities and hope for the chance to get a selfie with their fave!

SCAD Savannah Film Festival Locations
The main place to be for the 2017 Film Festival is the Broughton Street area.
The Lucas Theater is at Abercorn Street and Broughton, and right around the corner on Broughton Street, next to Leopold’s Ice Cream is the SCAD Trustee’s Theater. The SCAD Jen Library takes up the entire block of Broughton Street from Abercorn to Lincoln Streets.
Many of the events that take place over the week are at various SCAD facilities scattered throughout downtown Savannah. You can see the full schedule here, and buy tickets (if there are any left!) here.
