Holidays on Broughton

Christmas time is really beautiful in Savannah, the light posts around downtown Savannah becomes adorned with red ribbons and fir branches and bustling Broughton Street is illuminated by twinkling lights. If you haven’t already, you can book the perfect vacation home here.

Broughton Street Savannah’s best shopping destination. With dozens of stores like H&M, Gap, Savannah Bee Company, J Crew and Urban Outfitters-  there is a little bit of something for everyone so it’s always been a great place to take the family christmas shopping. This year, however, Savannah has kicked the holiday spirit up a notch by introducing Holidays on Broughton.  Bring the whole family down to experience the first annual Holidays on Broughton festivities this November 25- December 17th.

On Friday November 25th, help kick off the christmas season in historic downtown savannah for the Holiday Tree Lighting led by Savannah’s Mayor, Eddie Deloach. Make sure to stick around after the tree lighting for musical performances, Santa’s arrival and much more! If you can’t make it to the tree lighting, but still want to participate in the the holiday cheer, no worries! There will be tons of festivities and loads more fun to be had until the closing day of the festival on December 17th.

Bring the little ones down to get their picture taken with Santa Claus every Saturday from 10am to 2pm- and don’t worry about missing precious shopping and sightseeing time standing in line waiting for your turn on Santa’s lap- you can make a Santa reservation on your phone. Need to take a breather from all of the holiday shopping? Head down to the corner of Broughton and Bull every Saturday from the 26th of November to the 17th of December from 3 to 6pm to hear some of Savannah’s best bands play the holiday songs we all know and love.
