We had a great time at our house. The House was very accommodating to our large group. Fun times and a little barbecue in the garden between houses. Couldn't ask for much more than the amenities and location. A short walk or cheap Uber ride to everything. Would definitely stay here again!
Manager Response:
We are delighted you enjoyed it, Bret! Come back soon.

Pretty much everything was perfect. The property guidelines say that it comes with enough toiletries to last 3-4 days, but we had 2 toilet paper rolls in a bathroom for 10 girls. That last us a day and a half, and we had to buy more.
Manager Response:
We are glad you enjoyed it Avery! We apologize you ran out of toilet paper before 3 days. We will amend the information. We hope you come back soon.

Had an exceptionally pleasant stay at the Jepson Estate. The health/organic food store right across the park made for wonderful and healthy food options for our time in the house and dinner at Local Eleven 10 was superb, and just around the corner. You couldn't ask for a better location. Being right on the park was outstanding. We had a relaxing fun time just sitting on the porch while the people of Savannah enjoyed some time in the sun on an abnormally warm December day. Would absolutely stay here again. I cannot thank you all enough for your help with getting my group and I set up for a great weekend in Savannah.

We stayed at the Jepson Estate because of an unforeseen problem at another rental. SDV graciously upgraded us to the Jepson property at no additional cost. Kudos! Staying at the 1891 home was a trip in time with the high ceilings, old fireplaces, pocket doors, and woodwork. Forsyth Park is directly across the street. The home was clean and nicely decorated, and had all the needed amenities. Oddities? Only TV was in the living room. We could have used a broom to clean the acorns off the porch. The stairs to the 2nd floor have 19 steps...just an FYI.

Can't wait to visit again.

We surprised my husband for his 40th birthday with a trip to Savannah. We wanted a place to stay that was convenient and big enough for friends to stay with house. This house was perfect for that! The only thing I wish was that there were enough seats for 10 people because the house sleeps 10.

This was the perfect house for our group. The location was perfect. We had 8 girls and everyone slept comfortably. And everyone morning we could walk a block to his cute little coffee store and sit on the front porch watching everyone at Forsyth park. There's also a grocery store, Kroger, within walking distance! Which was great for our last minute items we forgot. Great house! We did have problems with the house not getting cooled even after we called to report it. They said it was due to he rain and heat outside. But we didn't let the ruin our weekend! It was a wonderful visit

Unfortunately, you never get a second chance to make a good first impression. The stay began on a bad note when we did not receive the promised email with the entry code. We did not get an answer when we called the contact number. They answered the second time we called and we got the code. This delayed us getting into the property about 15 minutes after we arrived. The property had a few maintenance issues but nothing we could not live with and notified the management company the day before we left. The wifi signal was weak upstairs and we had to log in with the password several times during our stay.Overall the house is in a great location. We had young kids with us so we could easily walk across the street to the nice playground. A health food store, coffee shop and Kroger are very close. It is also a short walk to the DOT bus which goes downtown. You can walk to River street and Ellis square in 30 to 45 minutes. The only downside of the location is the traffic on Drayton in front of the house. There is a lot of road noise and sirens which could be a problem if you are a light sleeper. It is nice having the off street parking for two vehicles but the spots are a little narrow, especially when the car in the spot at the end does not stay on their side of the line. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook and eat in the house. The living area was roomy and comfortable for all six adults. There is no "dining room" to get a large group to sit down together for a meal but the expandable table in the living room can fit 6 people on the three sides not against the wall. The courtyard area looked nice but we never spent any time there.I would definitely recommend the property and could see staying there again someday. The property managers provide an excellent email when you confirm your reservation with everything you need to know about the property and the area. Everyone had a great time and we thoroughly enjoyed ou

House was in a great location for my nephew's wedding. We were 2 blocks from the Mansion on Forsyth and a mile from all the great restaurants and activity on the water. A bit noisy early in the mornings due to thin walls and proximity to the street. The house is spacious and very comfortable for the 7 family members (all adults) in our group.

The Jepson Estate was emaculate. It was the perfect size for our group (in savannah for a bachelorette party). We loved how close it was to Forsyth. It would have been easier to be near down town, but not sure we would have enjoyed our stay as much in the midst of the hustle and bustle. Marcia was amazing the entire weekend!

The house was great and we would definitely stay there again. We loved being in the historic district and were able to walk to almost every place we wanted to visit. The house was well maintained and clean. The only exception was the porch furniture. I had to clean the chairs before sitting out there.

So happy we didn't stay at a hotel!

Renting this house was a great decision. It was nice to have so much space rather than spending a week in a hotel room. We had our own parking spaces behind the house which was great because we would have had to pay extra to park at a hotel and tip someone every time they retrieved our car for us. The house is beautiful and very clean. Marsha and Manderly were very kind and helpful, patiently answering my questions- even when I texted them on my drive to Savannah. The house is located on Drayton, which is a pretty busy street, but once inside the house you don't even notice. It's on Forsyth park, complete opposite end of the historic district from River Street. Lots of beautiful walking, starting at one end of the district and exploring all of the squares. Next time I go to Savannah I will definitely look for a Savannah Dreams Vacations home for my stay.

Stay was great, property was beautiful. Probably spent more time on the front porch than in any other part of the house. Layout inside wasnt the best for a big group as one bedroom is located between the front door and the living room, can be a bit noisy for whomever stays in that room.

5 of us stayed including my 82 yo mom. Was great to have b&b on 1st floor for her. The porch facing the park was great to relax on. Easy walk to public transport. Floor in kitchen dirty. Hand shower on 1st floor didn't work. In general very nice. Could have used a bit more relaxed seating in living room wit 5 of us. Someone had to sit at the bar.

This property was ideal for our getaway. Plenty of charm and character in this beautiful house in an ideal location across from the park. The coffee house across the street was an easy walk and had the most fabulous baked goods and coffees. The house is close to the river and historic downtown and there are beautiful live oaks. The little outdoor private courtyard was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy morning coffee and conversation. We would love to stay again next year!

This is a great property if you're looking for a fairly well-located house for 6+ more people. It's directly off Drayton which is a really busy thoroughfare, so beware this is not the most quiet locale and can be difficult to park/hail cabs due to the business but it is directly across from Forsythe Park and near Kroger and a coffee shop. The overall condition of the property is so-so. We had to have the shower fixed, lights replaced and make a note of other issues after we'd already checked in. Manderly and the property managers are quick and responsive when contacted. This is a great deal if you're with a large group and you're using the property for a place to crash rather than a place to hang out.

Since we had 6 people coming for the SCAD graduation, we wanted a house with socializing space; the Jepson House fit the bill! The location was good for walking Forsyth Park and not too far to drive uptown. Our only "complaint" was getting used to the traffic noise on Drayton: the a.m. "rush hour" was hard on those in the front bedrooms (but then, we live in the country, so I'm sure it's not an issue for everyone). We LOVE Savannah, and are sad to leave it behind.

My family visited Savannah for graduation & officer commissioning ceremonies for my daughter, arriving from Los Angeles, Dallas, & Des Moines. We had a great time in your beautiful city & our accommodations were wonderful. There were 10 of us staying at the Jepson House & overall it was fantastic. We had parking for both of our cars but could walk to the grocery store, a convenience store, coffee shop, the trolley, etc (many other places of interest too numerous to mention). We walked Forsythe Park, sat on the front porch "people watching" & waving at the tour buses as we planned our agenda each day of our 5-day stay there. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals, having a buffet, etc. The beds were comfortable, linens were high quality, showers always hot, & the management easy to locate for addressing some minor household issues. Everyone had a fabulous time. I highly recommend SDV & particularly the Jepson House if you want a great experience in Savannah. If you want convenience to enjoy this remarkable city in stunning setting, Savannah Dream Vacations should be #1 on your list of agencies to book with. A million thanks to Manderly & Geoff for great service & a great experience!!
